In addition to developing its own current Naval Ship Rules, Türk Loydu, owing to its experience and knowledge gained by naval ship projects, has become member of International Naval Safety Association (INSA) in 2011 which is naval corresponding to International Maritime Organization (IMO) and main purpose of which is to develop the Naval Ship Code that is naval adaptation of SOLAS by contributions of member navies and classification societies besides its membership to “Naval Ship Classification Association (NSCA)” which founded by seven NATO member classification societies main purpose of which is to develop naval ship classification rules, to maintain globally safe navigation of naval ships at sea, to contribute in development of regulations for preventing Marine Pollution.
