The TCG Akhisar and TCG Koçhisar Offshore Patrol Vessels, which underwent design approval checks by Türk Loydu for the Naval Forces Command, were launched in a ceremony held at Istanbul Naval Shipyard Command.

Based on the MİLGEM Ada Class Corvette design, the TCG Akhisar and TCG Koçhisar Offshore Patrol Vessels are 99 meters long, 14 meters wide, and have a displacement of 2,300 tons.

Powered by 4 diesel and 2 electric motors, these vessels have a maximum speed of 24 knots. Additionally, the Hisar-class ships, with a cruising range of 4,500 nautical miles, can operate at sea without resupply for up to 21 days.
