| TURK LOYDU STARTS TO DELIVER CONFORMITY ASSESSMENT SERVICES (Pi MARKING) FOR TRANSPORTABLE PRESSURE EQUIPMENT DIRECTIVE (2010/35/EU) |

TÜRK LOYDU, signed an agreement with KEY DIFFUSION LTD. (www.keydtest.com) which is a Notified Body registered in NANDO (New Approach Notified and Designated Organisations) by EU with identification number 2574 in the field of Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive (2010/35/EU). With this agreement TURK LOYDU will provide Pi marking services in cooperation with its partner in the field of conformity assessment, intermediate inspections, periodic inspections, exceptional chekcs, re-assessment of conformity.
All type tests can be performed in the laboratories of KEY DIFFUSION LTD. for type approval.
The TPED applies to all transportable pressure equipment used for ADR Class 2 gases and, UN 2037 gas cartridges, UN 1051, UN 1052, UN 1745, UN 1746, UN 1790, UN 2495 dangerous substances.
Transportable pressure equipment like pressure cylinders, tubes, drums, transportable pressure tanks, tank containers, wagons, multi-element gas containers, battery vehicles must bear Pi marking acc. to TPED.
Existing transportable pressure equpiment must be inspected by a notified body for intermediate inspections and periodic inspections.
Any kind of modification or repair work on a pressure equipment must be approved by a notified body. |
