Nuclear Construction Supervision

Today, nuclear energy is of great importance in meeting the increasing energy demand and combating climate change. The depletion of fossil fuels and the damage they cause to the environment have increased the interest in clean and sustainable energy sources. Nuclear energy offers an environmentally friendly option with low carbon emissions and at the same time has the capacity to produce large amounts of energy. It provides energy supply security by balancing the fluctuations of renewable energy sources due to weather conditions. It also creates economic and strategic advantages by increasing energy independence. With these features, nuclear energy plays a key role in the energy transformation.

Türk Loydu is a Nuclear Construction Inspection Organization authorized by the Nuclear Regulatory Authority to inspect the manufacturing, construction and assembly activities of all structures, systems and components that are important or not important for nuclear safety in nuclear power plant sites within the framework of the regulations specified in the "Nuclear Power Plant Construction Inspection Regulation" published in the Official Gazette numbered 30024. Türk Loydu has been working in the Akkuyu NPP project, which is the first nuclear power plant project built in our country, since 2018.
