Ship Recycling

Ship recycling services are provided according to international/regional requirements. Applicable requirements related to ships and ship recycling facilities are:

• IMO Hong Kong International Convention (HKC) for the Safe and Environmentally Sound Recycling of Ships (in force from 26 June 2025)

• EU Ship Recycling Regulation

• International standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 30000

• Turk Loydu EP additional class notation

Türk Loydu services related to ships:

• “Certificate/Statement of Compliance” for IHM (International Hazardous Materials) according to IMO HKC

• “Certificate/Document of Compliance” for Ready For Recycling according to IMO HKC

• “Statement of Compliance” for IHM according to EU Ship Recycling Regulation

• EP notation for new buildings according to TL rules based on IMO HKC

• “Certification of conformity” with international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 30000

• “Document/Statememnt of Authorization” for Authorization of Ship Recycling Facilities according to IMO HKC

• “Document of Compliance” for EU Ship Recycling Regulation
