ISO 9001:2026 Quality Management System Standard Published
The 2026 revision of the ISO 9001 standard, prepared by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), has been published. This new version aims to enhance the effectiveness of the Quality Management System, strengthen quality culture and principles of ethical conduct, and establish stronger links with business strategies.

Transition Process
The transition period is three years.
ISO 9001:2015 certificates will remain valid throughout the transition period specified by ISO.
By the end of the transition period, all certificates must be transitioned to the ISO 9001:2026 version before September 2029.
Transition audits may be conducted together with scheduled surveillance or recertification audits. The transition may also be completed through an interim transition audit.
