Türk Loydu and Arkas Establish a Strong Classification Partnership in Maritime Industry

Mr. Haluk Irıbaş, CEO of Arkas Maritime Fleet, paid a visit to Prof. Dr. Oral Erdoğan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Turk Loydu Foundation, on 11 June 2026.

During the meeting, the parties discussed potential areas of cooperation between Arkas Holding and Türk Loydu, as well as future opportunities for collaboration. As an initial step, a mutual agreement was reached to class two product tankers from the Arkas fleet under Türk Loydu’s classification, and the process was officially initiated.

This development is intended to mark the beginning of a long-term and strong partnership between Arkas and Türk Loydu. Both parties foresee further strengthening this cooperation through joint projects to be developed in various fields in the coming period.
