Türk Loydu and SCHOTTEL Sign Memorandum of Understanding at SMM Hamburg 2026

Türk Loydu and SCHOTTEL GmbH, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of marine propulsion systems, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during SMM Hamburg 2026, establishing a framework for future cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Oral Erdoğan, Chairman of the Board of Directors Türk Loydu Foundation, and Roland Schwandt, CEO of SCHOTTEL GmbH, with the participation of Hüseyin Doğar, General Manager of Türk Loydu, and Seçkin Uz, Managing Director of SCHOTTEL Türkiye.

Under the agreement, the two organizations will explore opportunities for cooperation in equipment and component certification, drawing on their respective technical expertise, industry experience, and institutional capabilities. The MoU also provides a framework for the development of joint initiatives in areas of common interest.

The cooperation represents another step in Türk Loydu’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its international partnerships and expand collaboration with leading maritime industry stakeholders.
