World Maritime Day 2026

This year's World Maritime Day theme, designated by the International Maritime Organization (IMO),"From Policy to Practice: Powering Maritime Excellence", highlights that a safer, more sustainable and more resilient maritime industry can only be achieved through the effective implementation of international regulations and standards.

As an IACS member international classification society, Türk Loydu supports the implementation and continuous advancement of international maritime standards through its activities in maritime safety, environmental protection,digital transformation and sustainable shipping.
